ATHENS, Ga. -- Georgia defensive end Marcus Jackson has been hospitalized with a blood clot in his brain but is expected to make a full recovery.
The team said today that Jackson, a redshirt sophomore from Norcross, was taken to St. Marys Hospital in Athens on Friday with symptoms of headache and vomiting. Tests revealed the blood clot, and he was transported to Emory Hospital in Atlanta, where he is listed in stable condition.
The team says Jackson is being treated with anti-coagulant medications and could be discharged as early as midweek.
