King broke leg in victory vs. Pitt
STORRS, Conn. -- Connecticut defensive lineman Tyler King underwent surgery on his broken right leg Friday, a day after he was injured in the Huskies' victory over Pittsburgh.
Team officials said King will be out at least six weeks.
The 6-6 senior was injured pursuing quarterback Tyler Palko in the closing minutes of the 29-17 victory. He had six tackles, including a sack, and recovered a fumble in the game.
The win was UConn's first Big East victory as a conference member.
