Girtman kicked off for violating team policies
Oklahoma State: Sophomore defensive lineman Brad Girtman has been kicked off Oklahoma State's football team for violating team policies, coach Mike Gundy announced Monday.
Girtman, a 6-5, 300-pounder from Houston, appeared in all 13 games in 2003 but saw limited action last season.
"We wish Brad well and hope he is able to find a place to successfully continue his career," said Gundy, who would not comment on the nature of the offense.
Gundy, a former assistant and the school's all-time leading passer, was named the Cowboys' 22nd coach on Jan. 3, replacing Les Miles.
