LOS ANGELES -- UCLA has hired D.J. McCarthy to be its wide receivers coach, head coach Karl Dorrell announced Sunday.
McCarthy spent the last two seasons coaching wide receivers at the University of Central Florida.
Previous wide receivers coach Dino Babers was promoted to running backs coach and recruiting coordinator, jobs that were left vacant when Eric Bieniemy became running backs coach for the Minnesota Vikings last week.
