MUNCIE, Ind. -- Two Ball State University football players from Georgia face preliminary theft charges for allegedly stealing three laptop computers from a campus dormitory of the Indiana school.

Nineteen-year-old Eulas Jerrel Taylor III and 18-year-old Brandon Houston of Cartersville were being held without bond Tuesday on preliminary charges of burglary and possession of stolen property.

Ball State police arrested the pair Friday about three hours before Taylor was supposed to leave with Ball State's football team for Saturday's game at Central Michigan.

Cardinals coach Brady Hoke said both players were suspended indefinitely.

Taylor started Ball State's first four games and five of the first six at cornerback. He made 16 tackles, including five against both Eastern Michigan and North Dakota State. He had one sack and one pass breakup. Houston, a linebacker, is redshirting and hasn't played in a game this year.
