Sophomore Brown suspended for season opener

NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma coaches have suspended tailback Chris Brown for Saturday's season-opening game against North Texas.

OU coach Bob Stoops didn't disclose during interviews on Monday
why the sophomore was suspended.

Brown picked up some playing time a year ago when starter Adrian
Peterson was hurt.

He had 343 rushing yards.
