Arkansas wide receiver Marcus Monk, who had a second arthroscopic surgery on his right knee at the end of August, is not expected to return for Saturday's game at Alabama.

"We're not counting on him," Arkansas coach Houston Nutt said Monday.

Monk, who has an Arkansas record 24 touchdown receptions, also missed the Razorbacks' season-opening defeat of Troy.

Monk had 50 catches for 962 yards and 11 touchdowns last season, averaging 19.2 yards per catch.
