Arkansas RB Jones sits out practice with deep thight bruise
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Felix Jones sat out practice Tuesday after suffering a deep thigh bruise in the Razorbacks' game against Tennessee last weekend.
Coach Houston Nutt said he won't know until later this week if Jones will be able to play in Saturday's game against Mississippi State.
"He's very, very sore and we just won't know for a few days," Nutt said.
Both Arkansas and Mississippi State enter the game with a 6-4 record on the season -- and both are vying for a bowl game.
"There's nothing like winning," Nutt said. "There's nothing like a celebrated locker room and that's exactly our intention. The way we practiced today showed us that our guys really care and they're working toward that goal."
Kickoff is at 1 p.m. at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.
