Connecticut starting quarterback Zach Frazer won't play this week at Baylor and could miss the following week as well with a right knee injury, coach Randy Edsall said on Sunday.

Edsall didn't give many specifics on the injury, which Frazer suffered during the second half of UConn's 12-10 loss to North Carolina on Saturday. But he did say that Frazer, a junior, will not require surgery.

Sophomore Cody Endres will start for the Huskies on Saturday at Baylor and will be backed up by freshman Mike Box.

Frazer had completed 51.2 percent of his passes and had thrown four interceptions with two touchdowns in the first two games this season.
