Oklahoma State running back Kendall Hunter, who has been out with an ankle injury, is expected to play against No. 3 Texas, two people familiar with Hunter's health said Friday, ESPN's Joe Schad reported.
Hunter, the Cowboys' top running back and a first-team All-America selection in 2008, is expected to share carries with Keith Toston against Texas.
In two games this season, Hunter has 32 carries for 114 yards and one touchdown. He gained 1,555 yards and ran for 14 TDs last season for Oklahoma State (No. 14 BCS, No. 13 AP).
