Green treated for sprained AC joint

ATHENS, Ga. -- Georgia receiver A.J. Green has left the game against Auburn with an injured left shoulder and won't return.

Green, leading the Southeastern Conference in catches and yards receiving per game, was hurt on a sideline tackle after a 12-yard reception in the second quarter of Saturday night's contest. The sophomore was taken to the locker room for treatment of a sprained AC joint.

Green is the Bulldogs' main offensive weapon with 47 catches for 751 yards and six touchdowns. He sat out last week's victory over Tennessee Tech with a bruised lung, but was cleared to play against Auburn.
