James Rodgers has concussion
Rodgers was shaken up with 9:27 left in the third quarter. He laid on his back at the 45-yard line for a few minutes before being helped up by his brother Jacquizz.
"I asked him how he was doing and he couldn't even find his helmet. He got his bell rung but I don't know anything beyond that," Beavers coach Mike Riley said. "He's obviously a big part of what we can do. We always expect the next guy to come in there and make some plays. It wasn't pretty execution wise."
Rodgers was blocking on a scramble by quarterback Ryan Katz when he collided helmet-to-helmet with Boise State safety Winston Venable. Rodgers immediately fell to the turf as trainers from both teams rushed the field.
Rodgers was up and walking on the Oregon State sideline the rest of the quarter, but trainers had taken away his helmet.
Rodgers returned a punt 54 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter. He had two catches for 11 yards.
