EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State cornerback Chris L. Rucker has been arraigned on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
East Lansing District Court records show Rucker's written waiver was processed Wednesday.
He is suspended indefinitely and isn't listed on the depth chart for the away game between the Spartans (No. 7 BCS, No. 8 AP) and Northwestern this week.
Rucker had an interception in Michigan State's 34-17 win over Michigan earlier this month, then was charged with drunken driving several hours later.
He was sentenced to 12 months' probation and 150 hours of community service for assault less than a year ago for his role in an on-campus fight. His probation officer has recommended Rucker spend 21 days in jail for breaking his probation.
