LINCOLN, Neb. -- Cody Green started at quarterback for Nebraska (No. 15 BCS, No. 16 AP) against Colorado in place of the injured Taylor Martinez.
Coach Bo Pelini indicated at midweek that Green probably would start, but it wasn't official until pregame introductions Friday.
Martinez has been bothered by a right ankle sprain since Oct. 30, and he injured a toe on his left foot last week against Texas A&M.
Green made his second start of the season and fourth of his career for the Cornhuskers, who need to beat Colorado to clinch the Big 12 North title.
