Chris Carter signs with Ohio State
Offensive lineman Chris Carter signed a letter of intent with Ohio State, giving the Buckeyes 24 players in their recruiting class for 2011.
Carter, a senior at John F. Kennedy High School in Cleveland, did not sign on on Feb. 2 after he was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor sexual imposition. On Feb. 7, Cleveland police said there was not enough evidence to charge Carter with any crime.
"We are excited Chris will be a Buckeye," Ohio State coach Jim Tressel said in a statement.
The Buckeyes begin spring practice March 31. The spring game is April 23 at Ohio Stadium.
