Aaron Rodgers' pass on fourth-and-goal fell incomplete with less than a minute left to play. Hey, we know USC won, but Aaron Rodgers was amazing. He was 29-of-34 for 267 yards. He tied an NCAA record by completing his first 23 passes.
STAT OF THE GAME: 14, 26: The number of consecutive wins USC now has after it avenged its only loss in its last 26 games.

Kejuan Jones ran off the left tackle for a 7-yard TD with 8:10 left to play in the fourth quarter. The way the Sooner defense was playing, a 12-0 lead was more than enough. With all due respect to the Sooner D, Adrian Peterson gets this game ball. A true freshman, Peterson acted like anything but as he ran for 225 yards against a defense that was keyed up to stop the Texas prep star who snubbed the Horns for the Sooners.
STAT OF THE GAME: 5, 24: It was Oklahoma's fifth straight win over Texas and the first time in 24 years the Horns have been shut out.

David Greene's pass into the end zone was knocked down as time expired. Vols coach Phillip Fulmer. After an embarrassing loss to Auburn last week, Fulmer had his team well-prepared and snapped a four-game losing streak to the Dawgs.

By the end of the first quarter. It was 14-0 Auburn and you knew then this would not be a repeat of last year, when Auburn needed overtime to beat the Bulldogs. So many stars, so few game balls, but we'll go with QB Jason Campbell, who again got his Tom Brady on and delivered an efficient 13-of-18 for 207 yards and 2 TDs.
STAT OF THE GAME: 17: Where the Tigers started the season in the poll. They'll likely be in the top 5 by Sunday.

FSU linebacker Sam McGrew intercepted Perry Patterson's pass with 5 seconds left to all but end the game. FSU running back Leon Washington, who rushed for a career-high 164 yards.
STAT OF THE GAME: 58: FSU held Syracuse to just 58 yards rushing, one week after the Orange rushed for 360 against Rutgers.

Joseph Addai caught a little swing pass and ran 10 yards for the game-winning TD with 27 seconds remaining. LSU QB Marcus Randall, who came off the bench and threw two touchdown passes, including the game-winner.

Minnesota's Brian Cupito's fourth-down pass fell incomplete, sealing another Michigan come-from-behind win over the Gophers. Michigan QB Chad Henne, who sure didn't play like a freshman. Henne was 33-of-49 for 328 yards and 2 TDs, inluding the game-winner with one minute left to play.
STAT OF THE GAME: 21, 7: Points Michigan rallied from to win the Little Brown Jug in the past two seasons.

Wisconsin QB John Stocco hit Jonathan Orr for an 11-yard TD to put the Badgers up by 11 in the fourth quarter. The way Wisconsin's D is rolling, that was an insurmountable lead. Anthony Davis was great, but QB John Stocco was the hidden star. He was steady and sprinkled in a few big plays (read: two TD passes) to lead the Badgers.
STAT OF THE GAME: 3, 18: Wisconsin's third straight win over Ohio State snapped the Buckeyes' 18-game home-winning streak.

Oklahoma State's running backs took the field. The Buffs had no answer for the Cowboys' running attack. Vernand Morency, who finished with 165 yards and two TDs to lead Oklahoma State to a 5-0 record.

North Carolina stopped NC State RB T. A. McLendon inches short of the end zone and forced a fumble on third-and-goal with six seconds left to play. Who else? The Tar Heels defense. Much maligned this season, they made the plays when they needed to on the goal line to preserve the win.
STAT OF THE GAME: 9-out-of-the-last-12: The number of times North Carolina has defeated NC State.
