Gambler Bob Stoops pulled off another surprise. After Alabama closed to 13-10, OU converted a fake punt on 4th-and-11 from its own 31 and scored a TD on the next play. Jason White. The Sooners quarterback threw touchdown passes of 46 yards to Mark Clayton and 47 yards to Brandon Jones and finished with 259 yards through the air.
STAT OF THE GAME: 1-22. OU punter Blake Ferguson connected on his only toss of the night for 22 yards and a 1st down.

Buckeyes WR Michael Jenkins snared a 13-yard 3rd down pass with 1:39 left to preserve the win. It's OK Buckeyes fans, you can finally take a breath now. Will Allen. The Ohio State safety changed the game with his 100-yard interception return for a TD in the 1st and saved the game when his footsteps caused a drop in the 4th.
STAT OF THE GAME: 1-14. The Buckeyes converted only 1-of-14 third down opportunities -- but Jenkins' catch came at the game's crucial moment.

First of all, it's too bad it had to end, but Al Marshall interception Florida's Chris Leak with 10 seconds left secured Miami's comeback win. Brock Berlin. Miami's transfer from Florida torched his former teammates for 340 yards and 2 TDs and rallied the Canes from 23 down.
STAT OF THE GAME: 23. Miami overcame a 23-point deficit to extend its home winning streak to 23 games.

Wake Forest used trickery (a 42-yard halfback pass), special teams (Willie Idlette's TD punt return) and offense (4 TDs and 374 total yards) to spring the upset.
STAT OF THE GAME: 70. With T.A. McLendon out and after Wake jumped to an early lead, the NC State running game was stuffed.

We'll be nice and say it was the third LSU possession. OK, maybe the fourth. Who knows really because LSU scored on its first six possessions so it's tough to narrow it down. The schedule maker. If LSU was going to schedule its first game with a Pac-10 team in 19 years, they sure picked the right team at the right time. This wasn't a contest.

Virginia's senior QB Matt Schaub was injured last week. The Cavs struggled to only 170 yards behind freshman Anthony Martinez. Dondrial Pinkins. The Gamecocks QB only completed 8 passes, but one was a school record 99-yard TD to give South Carolina a 10-7 lead.
STAT OF THE GAME: 43. Without Schaub, UVa managed only 43 yards passing. Not having the ACC Player of the Year in the lineup makes a difference for the young Cavs, huh?
