No. 23 Maryland (2-1) at Duke (0-3) 12:00 pm EDT

DURHAM, North Carolina (Ticker) -- No. 23 Maryland tries to shake off a tough loss when it opens Atlantic Coast Conference play at Duke on Saturday.

The Terrapins (2-1) suffered a 19-16 overtime loss at West Virginia last Saturday. Nick Novak made a 33-yard field goal to begin overtime, but West Virginia's Rasheed Marshall connected with Chris Henry for a seven-yard touchdown pass to end the contest.

The Terps undermined themselves with five turnovers.

Duke (0-3, 0-1), which is in its first full season under Ted Roof, completed a season-opening three-game road swing with a 41-17 loss at Virginia Tech in its ACC opener.

The Blue Devils, who held a 7-0 lead after one quarter before giving up 34 straight points, managed just 89 passing yards and 197 total yards.

Maryland has won 26 of the last 30 meetings with Duke, including a 33-20 triumph last year in which the Terps held a 27-0 lead after three quarters.
