No. 11 Oregon (8-1) at Washington St (3-6), 10:15 pm EST

PULLMAN, Washington (Ticker) - Eleventh-ranked Oregon tries to stay in the hunt for an at-large BCS bowl berth when it visits Washington State in a Pac-10 Conference contest Saturday.

The Ducks (8-1, 5-1 Pac-10) have won five straight games since a 45-13 setback to top-ranked Southern California on September 24.

Last week, Oregon edged California, 27-20, when Brady Leaf tossed a four-yard touchdown to James Finley in overtime and the Golden Bears' Joe Ayoob threw an incompletion on 4th-and-8.

Leaf, the younger brother of former Washington State star Ryan Leaf, splits time with Dennis Dixon, who was making his first start since Kellen Clemens was lost for the year with a broken left leg.

Washington State (3-6, 0-6) remained winless in Pac-10 play after a narrow 27-24 home setback to Arizona State last week.

Jerome Harrison rushed for a staggering 240 yards and two touchdowns for the Cougars, who have lost six straight games since a 48-7 rout of Division I-AA Grambling State on September 17.

Harrison has rushed for 100 yards in 12 straight games, tying a Pac-10 record set by California's J.J. Arrington. The nation's second-leading rusher, Harrison needs only 87 yards to break Rueben Mayes' 1984 school record of 1,637.

Oregon holds a 38-37-7 lead in the all-time series, including a 42-38 home victory last year.
