LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (Ticker) - Syracuse has yet to win a Big East Conference game under coach Greg Robinson. Snaring one against Louisville will be a tall task.

The surging 17th-ranked Cardinals appear likely to earn a 12th straight home win on Saturday when they host the Orange, who have lost eight consecutive contests.

Syracuse (1-9, 0-6 Big East) has been outscored, 155-56, in its six league games under Robinson, who is in his first year at the school. The Orange are coming off a 34-10 setback at Notre Dame last Saturday.

Damien Rhodes ran for 112 yards, but quarterback Perry Patterson completed just 9-of-22 passes for 78 yards, a touchdown and an interception for the Orange, who held a 3-0 lead after one quarter.

Louisville (7-2, 3-2) has not played since a 56-5 thrashing of Rutgers here November 11. It was the Cardinals' sixth straight game with at least 40 points.

Brian Brohm went 22-of-30 for 315 yards and three TDs and also ran for a score for the Cardinals, who have averaged 58.2 points at home this season.

Louisville defensive end Elvis Dumervil was held without a sack for just the second time this season. He is four shy of tying the NCAA record of 24 held by former Arizona State star Terrell Suggs.
