Three of Pohl's first five pass attempts were for touchdowns. In the first 5:26, Pohl connected with L.T. Pohl and Traylor-Bennett connected again for a 28-yard touchdown strike in the third quarter.
Howard moved into the red zone just once, but that drive stalled at the 11 to end the first half. Terrence Tusan had 18 carries for 60 yards to lead the Bison.
