BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- Ryan Dinwiddie threw for 399 yards and four
touchdowns as Boise State (No. 23 ESPN/USA Today) won its ninth straight game and clinched
at least a share of the Western Athletic Conference title by
defeating Louisiana Tech 36-10 Saturday.

Louisiana Tech's Michael Johnson brings down Boise State's David Mikell.
Dinwiddie had a school-record 97-yard touchdown pass to Lou
Fanucchi that gave the Broncos (10-1, 7-0 WAC) a 7-0 lead in the
first quarter. He added a 25-yard touchdown pass to Jay Swillie, a
30-yarder to Billy Wingfield and a 15-yarder to Rocky Atkinson.
The Bulldogs (3-7, 2-4) kept the Broncos high-powered offense in
check in the first half and trailed only 14-10 at halftime. But the
Boise State defense got a safety and shut out Louisiana Tech in the
second half.
Luke McCown threw for 330 yards for the Bulldogs, including a
28-yard touchdown pass to Erick Franklin in the second quarter.
The Broncos' 36 points give them 530 for the season, breaking
the previous school single-game record of 494 points. The win also
gives Boise State 38 wins in a four-year span, tying the school
mark set from 1979-82.
BSU has won 14 straight league games at Bronco Stadium and
improved its home record to 25-1 since the start of the 1999
season.
Dinwiddie completed 19 of 33 passes for the Broncos, and
Wingfield caught five passes for 119 yards.
Chris Norwood had 11 receptions for 136 yards for Louisiana
Tech.
