VALDOSTA, Ga. (AP) -- Reshawn Robinson ran for 121 yards,
including scoring runs of 42 and 27 yards, to lead Valdosta State
to a 51-3 rout of Arkansas-Monticello in a Gulf South Conference
game on Saturday.
The Blazers (7-2, 5-2) built a 30-0 lead before the Boll Weevils
(1-9, 1-6) got their only score of the game, a 41-yard field goal
by Ryan Guardia.
The Blazers opened the scoring less than six minutes into the
game on Willie Copeland's 2-yard pass to Derek Tharpe. Copeland
completed 16 of 26 passes for 126 yards.
Valdosta State got three touchdowns in the final period -- a
46-yard run by Deon Williams, a 6-yard run by Tyler Pruitt and a
79-yard interception return by Adrian Bryant.
Zachary Williams kicked field goals of 32 and 59 yards.
