AMHERST, N.Y. (AP) -- Jamaal Branch ran for 170 yards and two touchdowns as Colgate beat Buffalo 38-15 Saturday in the Bulls' 13th straight loss.

Colgate's Chris Brown completed 19 of 29 attempts and threw for 263 yards.Brown connected on a pair of touchdown strikes for 10 yards to J.B Gerald and 35 yards to Luke Graham, while running for another score on a 12-yard draw play.

It was disappointing home opener for the Bulls (0-3), who hold the dubious distinction of having the longest losing streak in college football.

The Raiders (2-0) had 621 total yards of offense. Colgate held a 31-point lead until the Bulls notched Steven King's TD with 1:47 to play.

The Colgate defense held the Bulls to 243 yards of offense. Buffalo had just 51 yards of offense in the first half. Buffalo's Randall Secky completed just nine of 16 passes for 74 yards and had two sacks before backup P.J. Piskorik replaced him.

Buffalo opened the scoring with an eight-play, 80-yard drive as Aaron Leeper (five carries, 54 yards) plowed the final eight yards. Colgate responded with an eight-play, 72-yard drive, with Branch's 1-yard TD.

Lane Schwarzberg gave Colgate the lead in the second quarter with a 19-yard field goal, andBrown extended the Raiders advantage to 10 points at halftime with a 12-yard scoring run. Graham had eight receptions for 147 yards and one TD.
