ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (Ticker) -- DonTrell Moore rushed for 132 yards and scored two touchdowns, powering New Mexico to a 34-7 rout of Utah State.

Moore, whose 1,134 total yards were the third-highest among freshman last season, tied a career high with 30 carries. He had 30 carries for the third time and averaged 4.4 yards per attempt.

In his 14th career start, Moore scored on TDs of six and two yards as New Mexico (3-3) won its second straigh.

Casey Kelly shook off a slow start to pass for 230 yards for New Mexico. He completed just two of his first seven attempts, but finished 13-of-22, including a 39-yard TD pass to Dwight Counter with 8:53 remaining in the first half.

Counter had four catches for 104 yards and his TD made it 17-7 as the Lobos scored 17 straight points.
