PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Javarus Dudley returned a kickoff 95
yards for a touchdown and caught the game-winning touchdown pass as
Fordham rallied for a 24-21 victory overBrown on Saturday.
Dudley caught seven passes for 100 yards and became Fordham's
career receptions leader with 84.
With 224 all-purpose yards on Saturday, Dudley now has 5,947
career all-purpose yards, five yards shy of the Patriot League
record of 5,952 set by Bucknell's Rich Lemon from 1993 to 1996.
Fordham quarterback Kevin Eakin also set a school record on
Saturday, completing 22 of 33 passes for 255 yards to become the
Rams' career passing leader with 3,295 yards.
Fordham (4-2) trailed 21-17 after three quarters, but with 7:33
to play, Dudley caught a 26-yard touchdown pass from Eakin.
Brown (1-3) was led by Nick Hartigan who ran for 214 yards and
two touchdowns. Hartigan also had an 82-yard run early in the third
quarter that set up a Kyle Slager's 2-yard touchdown pass to
Jarrett Schreck for a 17-14 Bears lead.
Fordham built a 10-0 lead in the first quarter on a 20-yard
field goal by Micah Clukey and a 6-yard touchdown pass from Eakin
to Jim Caffarello.
Brown pulled within 10-7 on Hartigan's 8-yard touchdown run
early in the second quarter, but on the ensuing kickoff, Dudley
broke to his left and raced 95 yards to give Fordham a 17-7
