LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) -- John Jackson completed two touchdown
passes in the fourth quarter to help Bucknell pull away for a 53-31
win over Holy Cross on Saturday.
Jackson, who went 12-for-17 for 242 yards, hit Albert Marquardt
with a 33-yard touchdown pass with 12:35 left in the fourth quarter
to give Bucknell (5-4, 3-1 Patriot League) a 39-24 lead. Following
a Holy Cross touchdown, he hit Ian Nutt with a 16-yard TD pass with
4:27 left to put the game away.
John O'Neill went 22-for-42 for 229 yards and one touchdown for
Holy Cross (1-8, 1-3). O'Neill hit Ari Confesor with a 10-yard TD
pass with 10 minutes left to draw Holy Cross to within eight at
Blamah Sarnor carried 23 times for 102 yards and two TDs for
Bucknell. Sarnor ran 5 yards for a TD in the third period and
closed the scoring with a 1-yard run with 26 seconds left in the
