BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) -- Anthony Graziani blocked a punt and
recovered it in the end zone to trigger Lehigh's 35-3 win over
Towson on Saturday.
Graziani broke through the line to block Steve Bulcavage's punt
to give Lehigh (6-2, 4-0 Patriot League) a 7-0 lead early in the
first quarter. Lawrence Keating intercepted a pass by Anthony Melzi
and returned it 31 yards for a 14-3 lead with 8:31 left in the
Melzi finished 12-for-35 for 134 yards for Towson (4-5, 2-3).
Matt Romeo carried 14 times for 61 yards for a Towson team that
managed only 230 total yards. Stephan Toth provided Towson's only
points with a 21-yard field goal in the second quarter.
Kyle Keating went 18-for-31 for 182 yards for Lehigh. Keating
hit Jason Beck with a 29-yard TD pass with 4:40 left in the first.
He hit Jermaine Pugh on an 8-yard TD pass late in the third quarter
that gave Lehigh a 28-3 lead.
