MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) -- David Caudill threw for 297 yards and a
last-minute touchdown and Adam Jones kicked three field goals to
lead Morehead State to a 15-10 win over Duquesne on Saturday.
Caudill finished 19-of-25 without an interception and Jones
connected from 45, 34 and 26 yards to lead the Eagles (7-2) to
their sixth straight victory.
Jones' first field goal put Morehead State up 3-0 with 4:39 left
in the opening quarter.
Duquesne (5-3) answered immediately with an 11-play, 71-yard
drive that chewed up nearly five minutes. John Harris capped the
march with a 16-yard field goal that tied the game.
Jones tacked on two field goals later in the second quarter to
give the Eagles a 9-3 halftime lead.
Duquesne quarterback Niel Loebig threw a 9-yard touchdown pass
to Loran Cooley with 1:25 left in the game.
Caudill threw a 36-yard touchdown pass to Eli Parkes with 39
seconds left for the winning score.
Mike Hilliard rushed for 177 yards for Duquesne.
