NEW YORK (AP) -- Kevin Eakin threw three touchdown passes to Javarus Dudley, who also scored on a 72-yard punt return to lift Fordham over Holy Cross 49-28 on Saturday.

Eakin was 23-of-37 for 207 yards for the Rams (8-2, 3-2 Patriot League), who extended their winning streak to five. Dudley finished with eight receptions for 91 yards.

Kirwin Watson, Fordham's career rushing leader, scored twice on 1-yard runs and gained 131 yards overall on 30 carries.

Ari Consesor scored three touchdowns for the Crusaders (1-9, 1-4), who lost their eighth straight game. Two of his scores came on passes from John O'Neill, who was 10-of-15 for 185 yards.

Consesor had six catches for 115 yards.

Dudley's 72-yard punt return with 11:05 left in the second quarter gave Fordham a 14-7 lead, but Consesor's 13-yard run with 9:33 to go and 45-yard reception with 7:20 remaining in the second put Holy Cross on top 21-14.

Fordham then scored four consecutive touchdowns, three on the Eakin-to-Dudley combination. The first, good for 16 yards, came with 4:14 to go in the second. That was followed by a 13-yard pass with 9:54 left in the third, and a 5-yard connection with 11:47 remaining.
