WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) -- Joe McCourt rushed for 186 yards and four touchdowns to lead Lafayette past Holy Cross 41-13 on Saturday.

It was the second straight week McCourt rushed for four TDs for Lafayette (5-5, 2-4 Patriot League), which handed Holy Cross (1-10, 1-5) its ninth straight loss. McCourt is now within one touchdown of the school record for touchdowns in a season.

The Leopards gained 481 yards of total offense, and jumped ahead 21-0 late in the second quarter as McCourt ran for three scores. He opened the scoring with a 40-yard TD run with 13:41 left in the first quarter, punched in another score on a 1-yard TD run and capped a 13-play, 76 yard drive with a 3-yard touchdown to put Lafayette ahead 21-0 with 4:22 left in the first half.

McCourt's last touchdown came with 9:14 left in the third quarter and gave the Leopards a 27-6 lead.

John O'Neill threw for 296 yards and a pair of TDs on 24 of 44 passing to lead the Crusaders. Ari Confesor caught one of O'Neill's touchdown passes, setting a school record with 19 career TD receptions.

Marko Glavic threw for 175 yards and a touchdown, and also scored on a 9-yard run early in the foruth quarter to put Lafayette ahead 34-13.
