DURHAM, N.H. (AP) -- R.J. Harvey rushed for 179 yards and three touchdowns to lead New Hampshire to a 47-27 Atlantic 10 victory against Maine.

The Wildcats (5-7, 3-6 Atlantic 10) built a 24-0 lead in the first half. Harvey opened the game with a 46-yard touchdown run. An 11-yard pass from Mike Granieri to David Bailey brought the score to 14-0, and a 22-yard field goal by Connor McCormick pushed the lead to 17. Joe Kreider's made it 24-0 with a 2-yard reception.

Maine (7-5, 5-4) scored in the third quarter on a 20-yard run by Marcus Williams. The Wildcats made it 33-7 on a 3-yard run by Harvey and another McCormick field goal.

Maine closed to 33-20 early in the fourth quarter with two of Kevin McMahan's three, school-record, touchdown receptions.

The Wildcats scored again on a 2-yard run by Paul McKinney, followed by McMahan's third touchdown reception, a 49-yarder, to bring the score to 40-27.

Harvey finished the scoring with a 35-yard run.

Maine's Rob Whitcomb completed 29 of 59 attempts for 432 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions.
