VILLANOVA, Pa. (AP) -- Andy Hall scored on a 1-yard touchdown run
with 1:25 left in the game to give Delaware a 20-17 win over
Villanova on Saturday night.
Delaware (11-1, 8-1) earned a share of the Atlantic 10 title
with the win and the automatic conference bid to the Division I-AA
playoffs because of its earlier victory over co-conference champion
Villanova (7-4, 5-4) had taken a 17-13 lead with 5:51 remaining
on a 7-yard touchdown run by Terry Butler. It was the Wildcats'
first lead of the game.
