VILLANOVA, Pa. (AP) -- Andy Hall scored on a 1-yard touchdown run with 1:25 left in the game to give Delaware a 20-17 win over Villanova on Saturday night.

Delaware (11-1, 8-1) earned a share of the Atlantic 10 title with the win and the automatic conference bid to the Division I-AA playoffs because of its earlier victory over co-conference champion Massachusetts.

Villanova (7-4, 5-4) had taken a 17-13 lead with 5:51 remaining on a 7-yard touchdown run by Terry Butler. It was the Wildcats' first lead of the game.

Delaware answered with a 13-play, 79-yard drive capped by Hall's option keeper.

Hall was 22-of-30 passing for 217 yards. Germaine Bennett ran for 109 yards on 21 carries, and Justin Long caught eight passes for 78 yards.

Joe Casamento was 20-of-37 passing for 191 yards for Villanova. John Dieser caught five passes for 77 yards.
