Idaho State 36, Southern Utah 17

POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) -- Mark Hetherington threw for 453 yards
and four touchdowns as Idaho State rallied to beat Southern Utah
36-17 Saturday night.

Hetherington's total, the fifth-highest in school history,
helped the Bengals end the season 8-4. It's the first time Idaho
State has recorded eight or more wins in consecutive seasons.

Southern Utah (4-7) had a 17-9 halftime lead but was held
scoreless the rest of the game.

Hetherington threw touchdown passes to Akilah Lacey and Brett
Fowler in the third quarter as Idaho State scored 27 second-half
points. Fowler had 10 catches for 155 yards and two touchdowns.

Casey Rehrer threw two first-half touchdown passes, to Cory
Ashby and Mike Culpepper, for Southern Utah.
