In a game that included 11 sacks and six turnovers, the Leopards
(2-0, 1-0) took the lead for good on Andrew Brown's 2-yard
interception return early in the fourth quarter. The play was set
up by a punt from Mike Davis that was downed at the 1-yard line.
Lafayette lost two fumbles and rotating quarterbacks Pat Davis
and Brad Maurer threw three interceptions, but the Leopards'
defense compensated by holding Georgetown (1-1, 0-1) to 132 total
Michael Gillman made field goals of 31 and 23 yards for
Georgetown, a week after he made five attempts against St. Francis.
Rick Ziska kicked a 48-yarder for Lafayette.
