HAMILTON, N.Y. (AP) --Chris Brown threw for 219 yards and three touchdowns to lead Colgate to a 33-0 win over Georgetown Saturday.

It was Colgate's first defensive shutout since 1988. The Raiders (2-1) held Georgetown starting quarterback Allan Keith to just five completions for 48 yards. He was sacked three times.

Brown completed 16 of 27 passes, throwing two TD passes to Luke Graham. Graham finished with seven catches for 95 yards.

DeWayne Long had five catches for 86 yards and a touchdown, while Jamaal Branch ran for 85 yards and a TD.

Brown and Graham opened the scoring midway through the second quarter with a 20-yard touchdown strike. Later in the quarter, Branch finished off a 57-yard drive with a 1-yard TD plunge.

In the third quarter, Brown connected with Long on a 64-yard touchdown pass to give Colgate a 19-0 lead. Andrew Moore returned an interception 34 yards for a touchdown just before the end of the quarter.

Emir Davis led Georgetown (1-3) with 49 yards rushing on 13 carries.
