SE Louisiana 26, Northern Colorado 13

HAMMOND, La. (AP) -- Martin Hankins threw three touchdowns to lead Southeastern Louisiana to a 26-13 win over Northern Colorado on Saturday night in a game drenched by rains from Tropical Storm Matthew.

Damien Huren set a Division I-AA record with six sacks and the Lions (4-2) had a total of nine sacks and forced three turnovers. The loss was the fifth in a row for Northern Colorado (1-5).

UNC led 10-7 at halftime, but the Lions came out strong in the second half to lead 23-13 by the end of the third quarter. Early in the third, Hankins hit Hutch Gonzales on a 20-yard TD pass and with 3:52 left in the quarter he connected with Josh Taylor on an 80-yard TD pass. Hankins completed 17-of-36 yards for 255 yards but threw three interceptions.

Two field goals by Jim Hall -- a 20-yarder to end the third quarter and the other a 30-yarder with 11:26 left in the fourth quarter -- sealed the win for the Lions.

Tony Christensen completed 7-of-23 passes for 153 yards and no interceptions for UNC.
