BLACKSBURG, Virginia (Ticker) -- Bryan Randall made sure Florida A&M would remember its first meeting with Virginia Tech.

Randall tossed four touchdown passes as the Hokies pasted Division I-AA Florida A&M, 62-0.

Virginia Tech (5-2) scored 24 points in both of the first two quarters as Randall threw a pair of TD passes in each.

Four different receivers caught scoring strikes for the Hokies. Randall completed 9-of-14 passes for 115 yards.

Florida A&M (2-5) had a tough time with the Hokies on both sides of the ball. The Rattlers managed only 199 yards of total offense and committed five turnovers. It could have been worse as Florida A&M lost only two if its eight fumbles.

The Hokies racked up 310 yards on the ground behind Cedric Humes, who rushed for 120 yards and two TDs on 17 carries.

It was the second shutout for the Hokies this season. They waxed Western Michigan, 63-0, on September 11.
