MURRAY, Ky. (AP) -- Nick Turner and Chad Cook each rushed for
more than 100 yards and combined for four touchdowns as Murray
State beat Southeast Missouri 28-13 on Saturday afternoon.
Turner galloped for 167 yards and two touchdowns and Cook had
two scores and 100 yards on the ground for the Racers (4-4, 3-2
Ohio Valley Conference). Murray State finished with 481 yards of
Quarterback Adam Fisher completed 8-of-14 passes for 185 yards
and one interception for the Racers.
Murray State took a 21-0 lead with 3:31 left in the third lead
when Cook scored his second touchdown on a 4-yard run.
The Indians went scoreless until David Taufoou ran for a 1-yard
score with 90 seconds left in the third. Andrew Goodenough
completed 21-of-36 passes with one interception for 263 yards for
Southeast Missouri (1-6, 1-3 OVC).
