WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) -- Quarterback Daris Wilson ran for 252 yards and scored five touchdowns in Bucknell's 42-27 win at Holy Cross on Saturday.

Wilson scored three touchdowns in the second half as Bucknell pulled away.

Steven Silva gained 224 total yards for Holy Cross (1-7, 0-4).

Holy Cross took a 20-14 lead at halftime, as Mike DeSantis kicked two first-half field goals and Sean Gruber caught a 22-yard touchdown pass from John O'Neil.

Wilson's 3-yard run gave Bucknell a 21-20 lead midway through the third quarter. The teams then traded touchdowns set up by long kickoff returns.

Silva had a 69-yard return, leading to a 13-yard pass from O'Neil to Bob Turkovich. Then, Bucknell linebacker Andrew Decker fielded a line-drive kick and took it 67 yards to the Holy Cross 14, setting up Wilson's 10-yard scoring run. That gave Bucknell a 28-27 lead.

Wilson scored two TDs in the fourth on runs of 15 and 9 yards as Bucknell put the game away.
