NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) --Tennessee State held onto a 38-36
homecoming win over Southeast Missouri St. Saturday, behind 248
yards on the ground from Charles Anthony and four touchdown passes
from Bryson Rosser.
Rosser connected with Fred Burnett for scores of 45 yards and 41
yards early in the second quarter to put TSU up 14-3. Rosser also
hit Hollis with a 33 yard pass later in the quarter.
TSU padded a 24-13 halftime lead with another Rosser passing
touchdown and an 80-yard touchdown run by Anthony to go up 38-13.
S.E. Missouri exploded with 26 unanswered points the rest of the
way, but fell short after two failed two point conversions.
Andrew Goodenough finished with 292 passing yards and three
touchdowns for S.E. Missouri.
Running back Devontae Booker had 124 combined yards and a touchdown, and Utah spoiled Jim Harbaugh's Michigan coaching debut, beating the Wolverines 24-17 on Thursday night.
