Cornell 32, Columbia 26

NEW YORK (AP) -- D.J. Busch's 38-yard scoring pass to Brian Romney with 37 seconds left capped a 25-point fourth quarter for Cornell and gave the Big Red a 32-26 victory over Columbia on Saturday.

Columbia (1-8, 1-5 Ivy League) blew a 26-7 lead with 11:29 to play.

Busch threw two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter and Sean Nassoiy had two interceptions to set up Cornell scores.

The Big Red (4-5, 4-2 Ivy) needed the late touchdown after Trevor MacMeekin missed an extra point that would have given Cornell a 27-26 lead. Chad Nice caught a 23-yard TD pass from Busch to tie it, but Adam Brekke blocked the kick for Columbia.

Cornell's defense held the Lions on the next possession, setting up Romney's go-ahead touchdown. Romney caught a short pass from Busch on the left side and tip-toed the final 25 yards down the left sideline.

Cornell's Joshua Johnston ran for two 1-yard touchdowns in the fourth quarter to cut the Lions' lead to 26-20.

Rashad Biggers and Brandon Bowser each had two touchdowns for the Lions.
