Stony Brook 45, Iona 13

STONY BROOK, N.Y. (AP) -- T.J. Moriarty threw five touchdown passes, two of them to Andre Blocker, and Stony Brook routed Iona 45-13 on Saturday.

Moriarty finished 19-of-34 for 253 yards for the Seawolves (3-7), and Blocker had eight receptions for 134 yards.

Iona (2-8) got on the board first with a 14-yard TD pass from Mike Biehl to Dennis Calacione late in the first quarter.

Stony Brook then scored 31 straight points.

After Sean Forman's 45-yard field goal in the second, Moriarty connected on TD passes of 47 yards and 9 yards to Blocker to put Stony Brook ahead 17-7.

Moriarty threw a 21-yard score to Al Davis in the third and Clinton Graham raced 12 yards into the end zone a few minutes later to cap the run.
