PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Quarterback Daris Wilson ran for a game-high
143 yards and two touchdowns and Dante Ross had three interceptions
as Bucknell beat Duquesne 30-20 on Saturday.
The Bison (7-4) ended the season on a four-game winning streak,
during which Wilson rushed for 737 yards and 14 touchdowns.
The loss ended Duquesne's 16-game winning streak at home and
five-game winning streak this season.
Wilson passed only six times against Duquesne (7-3), running for
22 more yards than the Dukes did as a team. Bucknell ran for 255
yards to Duquesne's 121.
Wilson scored on 12- and 1-yard runs as the Bison built a 27-7
Niel Loebig was 22-of-36 for 239 yards and two touchdowns for
Duquesne, but threw four interceptions, including one that Joe
Glenn returned 53 yards for a touchdown.
Loebig led Duquesne on a last-minute scoring drive capped by a
23-yard pass to Michel Warfield to bring the Dukes within 10. But
he couldn't connect with Warfield on a 2-point conversion and the
Dukes' onside kick failed.
