Lehigh 49, Harvard 24

BOSTON (AP) -- Mark Borda threw two touchdown passes and ran for two more as Lehigh ended Harvard's longest-in-the-nation Division I-AA winning streak at 13 games with a 49-24 win on Saturday.

Harvard (2-1) fell behind 14-0, but came back to take a 17-14 lead on Liam O'Hagan's 13-yard run with 10:49 remaining in the third quarter.

But the Mountain Hawks (3-1) answered with 28 consecutive points.

Eric Rath scored on runs of 1 and 3 yards and Borda threw a 19-yard pass to Kevin Zebluim with 59 seconds left in the third quarter to make it 35-17 after three.

Borda, 25-for-39 for 347 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions, extended the lead to 42-17 with a 2-yard run early in the fourth quarter. He scored again on a 6-yard run with 7:18 left in the game.

Harvard's Richard Irvin threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to Alex Breaux with 10:53 left in the game to make the score 42-24.

Rath's 1-yard plunge at 11:13 of the first quarter gave Lehigh a 7-0 lead.

The Mountain Hawks went ahead 14-0 when Borda connected with Winfred Porter on a 91-yard pass in the second quarter.

O'Hagan's 22-yard run with 5:07 left in the first half gave Harvard's it's first points. The Crimson tacked on a 36-yard field goal by Matt Schindel to trail 14-10 at halftime.
