AMHERST, N.Y. (AP) -- Brett Biggs ran for a touchdown and Jason Swiger kicked a pair of field goals as Akron scored all its points in the fourth quarter to beat Buffalo 13-7 Saturday.

Luke Getsy completed 12 of 32 passes for 145 yards, 131 of them in the second half to direct the Zips' late rally. Getsy completed only 3 of 15 in the first half.

Akron (3-2, 2-1 Mid-American Conference) rolled up 224 yards of total offense, but just 33 yards came in the first half. Buffalo (0-5, 0-2) held Domenik Hixon, the nation's all-purpose yards leader, to five receptions for 93 yards.

Getsy hit Hixon with a 23-yard pass to open the fourth quarter, setting up Biggs' 3-yard game-tying touchdown run.

Biggs was injured on his next carry, a 20-yard run that set up Swiger's 25-yard field goal. Biggs finished with 77 rushing yards.

Dionte Henry's interception of a tipped Drew Willy pass led to a 26-yard field goal by Swiger with less than six minutes left in the game.

Willy, Buffalo's freshman QB making his second career start, was 12-for-25 for 71 yards and an interception.

Steven King scored Buffalo's first first-half touchdown of the season on a 2-yard run at 10:45 of the first quarter.
