GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Ingle Martin passed for 220 yards and one touchdown, and Furman beat Elon 45-6 on Saturday.

Martin, who missed last week's game with cramps, was 12-for-19 including a 13-yard scoring strike to Justin Stepp with 13 seconds to go in the first half.

The Paladins (7-1, 3-1 Southern Conference) drove 81 yards in two plays before the half to go ahead 24-3. After Martin's 55-yard completion to Ryan McKie, the Phoenix (3-5, 0-4) were called for roughing the passer, which gave Furman the ball on Elon's 13-yard line.

Elon's Joe Baptiste rushed for 96 yards on 19 carries. After Andrew Wilcox's 32-yard field goal made it 24-6, Furman sealed the game three consecutive touchdowns.

It was the Paladins sixth straight win over the Phoenix.
