Lehigh 42, Bucknell 10

LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) -- Sedale Threat threw for 226 yards and two scores and rushed for another TD to lead Lehigh to a 42-10 win over Bucknell on Saturday.

Lehigh (5-2, 1-1 Patriot League) came out quickly in the first half, with Threatt leading an 82-yard drive capped by a 13-yard TD pass to fullback Greg Fay with 9:18 to go.

Bucknell (1-6, 1-1) responded with a 43-yard field goal by freshman kicker Will Carney, but that was as close as the game would get all day.

The Mountain Hawks scored later in the first on Threat's four-yard quarterback draw, a 13-yard TD pass to Lee Thomas and a 10-yard, double-reverse by Gerran Walker.

Bucknell's Dante Ross capped a 68-yard drive with a 10-yard TD run to make the score 28-10 at the break, but the Bison would not score again.

In the second half, Fay scored his second TD of the afternoon on a 21-yard run. Eric Rath, who rushed for 109 yards for Lehigh, then scored on a one-yard TD later in the third to cap the scoring.

Threatt was 13-of-25 passing on the day and was intercepted once.

Ross was 7 of 13 for 151 yards and no scores for Bucknell. He led his team in rushing with 64 yards and a TD, but was also sacked twice.

Daniel Zvara led the Bucknell receiving corps with 107 yards on four catches, but no other receiver tallied more than 21 yards through the air.
