NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (AP) -- Obozua Ehikioya scored the game-winner on a 1-yard run with 7:36 remaining as Marist held off Iona 28-27 Saturday.

The score gave the Red Foxes (6-3, 3-1 Metro Atlantic) a 28-21 advantage. Michael Biehl connected with Dennis Calcione on a 3-yard pass with 20 seconds remaining to cut the deficit to 28-27. Biehl then overthrew Calcione on an attempted 2-point conversion as Iona (3-6, 1-3) went for the win.

Iona took a quick 7-0 lead on Greg Bielski's 1-yard run in the first quarter. Marist moved in front 8-7 on James Luft's 4-yard run and Mike Sangiorgi's dash for a 2-point conversion. Ehikioya had 6-yard run to make it 14-7.

Biehl's 1-yard run tied the game at 14, and his 18-yard pass to Greg Asplint put Iona up 21-14. But Marist tied it when Dave Snell picked off Biehl and raced 41 yards for the score.
