BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) -- Sophomore quarterback Sedale Threatt
completed just 10 passes but four of them went for touchdowns as
Lehigh rolled to a 46-14 win over Georgetown on Saturday.
Threatt, making his third start in place of injured captain Mark
Borda, threw for just 95 yards and got almost half of them on a
43-yard touchdown pass to Kevin Zebluim in the third quarter that
made the score 32-7.
Marques Thompson rushed for 117 yards on 11 carries and Eric
Rath added 91 yards and a touchdown for Lehigh (7-2, 3-1 Patriot
League). Threatt chipped in 73 yards on the ground as Lehigh leaned
heavily on the ground game, picking up 332 yards on 52 carries.
Quarterback Nick Cangelosi scored on 5-yard run in the second
quarter and tossed a 2-yard touchdown pass early in the fourth to
give Georgetown (4-5, 2-3) its only points.
Justin Musiek booted a pair of field goals and punter Jason Leo
kicked a 43-yarder for his first collegiate field goal for the
Threatt tossed short touchdown passes to Winfred Porter and Adam
Kovacs in the first half before hooking up with Zebluim twice for
touchdowns after the break.
The Lehigh defense held the Hoyas to 44 yards on the ground and
forced a safety in the first quarter.
